Marks and traffic lanes are pre-treated first. Then the carpet is cleaned with hot water extraction, room by room, with stairs and edges done by hand.
Drying and aftercare

Every home is different, but the same few areas take most of the wear. These are the ones customers ask us about most.
- Hall, stairs and landing
The route everyone uses, straight in from a wet footpath. Grit grinds at the pile and leaves a grey lane. Every step is cleaned individually with a hand tool, edges included.
- Living rooms
Spills in front of the sofa, lanes between doorways and the odd glass of red wine. Most of it lifts well with the right pre-treatment and a thorough rinse.
- Bedrooms
Lighter footfall, but bedside spills, make-up, hair dye and dust under the bed. Clearing under the bed before we arrive makes a real difference to the result.
- Rentals between tenants

Quick help for the marks people call us about
Blot, don't rub, and use cold water, not hot. That covers the first five minutes of almost any spill. After that, each stain needs its own approach:
- Coffee and tea
Tannin stains. Blot and use cold water, sparingly. Old ones often leave a faint brown shadow that needs professional treatment. Coffee and tea stains →

Get in touch by phone or through the quote form with a few details about the job — number of rooms, general condition, anything unusual. We'll come back with a free, no-obligation price, and if you're happy to go ahead we'll arrange a time. Payment isn't due until the work is done.
Is the quote really free, with no obligation to book?
Yes — there's no charge for a quote and no obligation to book once you have one. If the price isn't right for you, or you just want to think it over, that's completely fine. No call-out fee, no pressure.
How much does carpet cleaning cost in Dublin?

What payment methods do you accept, and when do I pay?
We accept common methods like card and bank transfer — just confirm what suits when you're booking. Payment is taken once the job is finished, not upfront.

Can you fit me in quickly, or is there a long wait for a booking?
It varies with demand and time of year. Get in touch as early as you can, especially around a house move or an end-of-tenancy deadline, and we'll give you the soonest realistic date rather than a promise we can't keep.
Do I need to be at home during the clean?
It's up to you. Once we can get access and you've told us what needs doing, plenty of customers head out and let us get on with it. If you'd rather be around, especially the first time, that's no problem — just let us know when you book.
What's included in a visit, and what might cost extra?
A standard visit covers cleaning whatever you've booked in for. Things like stairs, heavily soiled carpets or furniture that needs moving can add time and may affect the price — mention these when you request your quote so the figure reflects the actual job. How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
It depends on the carpet, the level of soiling and ventilation in the room. We'll give you a realistic drying estimate before we start, and tips to speed it up. See our guides for more.
What happens if a stain or mark doesn't fully come out?
We'll always be upfront with you. Some stains, particularly old or set-in ones, don't lift completely, and we'd rather tell you that honestly before we start than promise a result we can't stand over. See our stain removal page for more on what affects the outcome.
Do you clean anything besides carpets?
Yes — we also clean upholstery and sofas, mattresses and rugs, alongside carpets. Just mention what you need when you request a quote.

Can you give me a price from photos?
Yes, for most homes. Photos of each room from the doorway, the stairs from the bottom and close-ups of any stains tell us almost everything we need. Send them on WhatsApp or through the photo quote form and we'll come back with a price during working hours.
Do you clean stairs and landings?
Yes. Stairs are cleaned step by step with a hand tool, because a floor wand can't reach the treads and edges properly. They're priced separately from rooms, so a photo from the bottom of the stairs helps us quote accurately.
Do you clean carpets in apartments?
Yes. The extraction machine is portable, so upper floors and buildings without a lift are fine. They just take a little longer. Tell us the floor, whether there's a lift and how parking and building access work when you book.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Clear small items off the floor and from under beds, vacuum if you can, tell us about any heavy furniture in advance, and note what's been used on any stains. The printable preparation checklist covers everything.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
It depends on footfall, pets, children and how light the carpet is. Busy family homes and homes with pets benefit from more frequent cleans than a quiet home. Our guide to how often to clean carpets gives a realistic schedule.
